The Americans will meet France in the gold medal game on Sunday, Sept. 13, in Berlin, Germany. It will be a rematch of the 2024 Olympic gold medal game in Paris, where USA narrowly defeated France, 67-66.
"My message to the team is this is our standard here with Team USA, and It's about us. It's literally about us," Breanna Stewart said. "Everything that we do is literally going to dictate what happens in tomorrow's game and making sure that that's the main focus − is we continue to look inward.
"There's gonna be a ton of emotions in this game, and it's gonna be the team that really kind of regulates that and handles that best that will have the advantage."
