Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia has been linked to a reported cabinet reshuffle under President Prabowo Subianto, with speculation that he could take on an additional role as coordinating minister for downstreaming and energy.
Bahlil did not deny the reports when asked about them at the State Palace on Thursday.
"We'll see. I haven't been inaugurated yet, so I can't give any statement," Bahlil told reporters.
Bahlil is among several government officials whose positions have been linked to possible changes in what would be the seventh cabinet reshuffle under Prabowo and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka since they took office in October 2024.
