Incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party won the Ede North Local Government Area by a landslide in the Osun State governorship election. Final results are pending collation at the state level in Osogbo.

The Accord Party governorship candidate and incumbent governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, has secured the highest number of votes in his Local Government Area, Ede North, in Saturday’s governorship election.
The Ede North Local Government Area Collation Officer, Jacob Opele, announced the aggregate results at the LGA collation centre, declaring Mr Adeleke the winner.
Mr Adeleke, who is seeking re-election, polled 35,427 votes to defeat his closest challenger, Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who secured 10,283 votes.
