Joao Pedro has pulled out of Brazil's squad for the upcoming international break because of injury.

We haven't heard anything about it from Chelsea yet – Xabi Alonso's press conference is tomorrow afternoon – but it was noted that the striker wasn't in training this week.

Brazil did not call the former Brighton man up for the World Cup – and paid the price. They went out against Norway looking desperate for a striker. Since then he's looked extra motivated to succeed for the Blues, and has been brilliant since the start of preseason.
