The Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Breakfast Scheme will be expanded to cover 50 more schools in the Erode Corporation limits, benefiting 7,894 additional students.
The breakfast scheme was introduced for students of Classes I to V in government and government-aided primary schools with the objectives of addressing malnutrition and preventing dropouts. With this, the scheme will cover 99 schools and benefit a total of 17,452 students.
