Break-in attempt at ex-US VP Kamala Harris' Malibu house

A trespasser was stopped at former US Vice President Kamala Harris’ Malibu property Friday night after private security spotted the individual entering the premises, authorities and Harris’ spokesperson said.Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, were not at the property at the time, spokesperson Eduardo Negrón said to news agency NewsNation. He added that security personnel present stopped the individual before they could get to the actual house. Negrón also mentioned that Harris and her husband were grateful to the security and law enforcement personnel who responded swiftly.News agency TMZ also spoke with a spokesperson from the Los Angeles county sheriff’s department who confirmed that the Malibu Lost Hills deputies were called to the property around 10.30 pm following a report of a suspicious person.
