Brazilian woman’s death in Limerick treated as murder-suicide after suspect’s body found
Irish authorities are investigating the death of a Brazilian woman in Limerick as a murder-suicide after the body of her husband was discovered in Cork. The couple had been living in Ireland since 2021, though their relationship had recently ended.

Gardaí are treating the death of Brazilian native Jady Cristine Pereira Rosa as a murder-suicide after the chief suspect’s body was later found.
Pereira Rosa’s body was discovered at an apartment on Cecil Street in Limerick city at about 7.30am last Friday.
Around 12 hours later, the body of the chief suspect, named locally as Judismar Weslei Batista, also from Brazil, was recovered near Blackrock Castle in Cork .

Pereira Rosa (32) and Batista, who was aged in his 30s, were married and were sharing the apartment where the woman was found dead.
It is understood their relationship had broken down recently.
