Brand New Day Beats Force Awakens at Domestic Box Office

Sony Pictures ‘ spectacularly successful superhero blockbuster has become the highest-grossing title on the all-time North American chart with $936.773 million. The new domestic champion hit the top spot after 47 days of release, surpassing the previous record of $936.6 million for 2015’s Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens .

Spider-Man: Brand New Day ‘s historic run has included becoming the fastest feature to hit every major domestic milestone, from $400 million through $900 million. Additionally, it stands at No. 3 on the all-time global chart, behind overall leader Avatar and second-place title Avengers: Endgame .
