It does not necessarily reflect the view of The Herald. A NEWLY refurbished Acute Renal Dialysis Unit has opened.

The upgraded unit at Bradford Royal Infirmary (BRI) features a modern, patient-focused environment designed to improve comfort and care for inpatients who require dialysis, including those transferred from Airedale Hospital.

Dr Mansoor Ali, consultant nephrologist at BRI, said: "This makeover has transformed the unit into a new, bright, modern designed space which is much needed for this busy service.
