Boy who underwent treatment after suffering head injury in train hit case dies

A one-year-old boy, who suffered a head injury along with his 63-year-old grandmother on Sunday, after being hit by a suburban train near Korukkupet railway station died on Wednesday.
A senior official of the Government Railway Police (GRP) said when Moideen Beevi, 63, tried to cross railway tracks along with her grandson S. Mohammed Zayan near Korukkupet railway station, a suburban train hit her. Beevi was killed on the spot. The boy suffered a head injury and was undergoing treatment at the Government Stanley Medical College Hospital. The police said the boy died on Wednesday.
