A six-year-old boy died after swallowing a balloon at his home in Pachur on Tuesday.

The police identified the victim as K. Somnath. He was the son of S. Kumar, 37, and K. Satya, 33. The boy was playing at his home with his brother when he accidentally swallowed the balloon.
