Share A A A A former championship boxer who spent nearly two decades trying to clear his name for a murder he claims he didn’t commit has been identified as the alleged head of a major illicit tobacco network worth millions of dollars.

Khalid Baker, who won the Victorian Regional Cruiserweight title in 2019 in less than a year after serving a 13-year prison sentence, has allegedly been hiding overseas from a warrant for his arrest as part of a major state and federal law enforcement operation.
