Boox Launches the Palma 3 E-Reader

Boox has announced three new E Ink devices, including the Palma 3 e-reader and two color tablets, the Note Air6 C and Note Mini C. These devices feature updated hardware and software aimed at digital note-taking and reading.
Why it matters
The release reflects the growing niche market for E Ink technology as a specialized alternative to traditional LCD/OLED tablets for productivity and reading.
If you're a fan of e-paper devices that use E Ink, a technology that mimics the appearance of ink on paper, you've probably stumbled across Boox's wide range of E Ink digital notebooks and tablets. One of Boox's most popular models is the smartphone-sized Palma, and the company just announced its third-generation Palma along with two other new products.
Here are all three products released last night and what’s available to shop now (and which one I'm most excited to test as WIRED's resident E Ink device tester).
Boox’s New Generation
Boox launched three new E Ink products: the Boox Note Air6 C ($580), Note Mini C ($580), and the Palma 3 ($340).
