Justice Madhav Jamdar passed an order on September 7, directing the Director General of Police to submit an affidavit. The Court heard an application for bail from Pune Tehsildar Suryakant Yewale.
Mr. Yewale faces charges of misusing his office to facilitate a transaction. He stated in his application that he held no role in the case. The Bench adjourned the matter for a hearing on September 28.
