SONIPAT: A 25-year-old man was killed and two of his friends sustained injuries after their motorcycle crashed into a road divider on Murthal Road in Sonipat early Sunday morning.The deceased, identified as Sumit, was riding the motorcycle when it lost control following the collision with the divider, causing all three riders to fall onto the road.Sumit, a resident of Sandal Kalan village, sustained critical injuries and died at the spot. His companions, Prince and Sahil, were injured in the accident and were subsequently taken to Sonipat Civil Hospital.Prince’s condition was reported to be serious, following which doctors referred him to Rohtak PGI for further treatment. Sahil was treated at Sonipat Civil Hospital.According to police, the accident occurred at around 5am on Sunday. The motorcycle reportedly rammed into a divider on Murthal Road and went out of control.
