BMRCL, BMTC add new bus stops near two metro stations to improve last-mile connectivity

BMRCL and BMTC have introduced new bus stops near two Bengaluru Metro stations to improve last-mile connectivity for commuters. These changes, effective October 6, aim to streamline transit between the Metro and local bus networks.

The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL), in coordination with the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC), has introduced new bus stops near two Metro stations to improve first and last-mile connectivity for commuters.
The new facilities came into effect from October 6 following a joint inspection of the locations by BMRCL and BMTC.
On the Purple Line, a new bus stop has been provided near Entrance B of Cubbon Park Metro Station, on the Chinnaswamy Stadium side. The stop will serve buses coming from the Indian Express bus stop side and travelling towards Shantinagar via Anil Kumble Circle.
