LUCKNOW: A sub-inspector posted at Ghazipur (Indiranagar) police station was found dead inside his locked car in Para on Friday.The deceased was identified as Ajay Kumar (36), a 2020-batch SI posted at Sarvodayanagar police outpost under Ghazipur police station of Lucknow. He was a native of Hapur district.According to police, Kumar had been out of contact with his colleagues since Thursday afternoon. Personnel posted at the outpost made repeated attempts to reach him on the phone, but he did not answer. Concerned over his unexplained absence, police traced the location of his mobile phone, which led them to the Budheshwar-Mohan road under the jurisdiction of Para police station.A police team reached the location and found a car parked on the roadside. Kumar was seen lying unconscious inside the vehicle.
