BJP will reform KPSC, restore transparency if voted to power: Vijayendra
BJP State president B.Y. Vijayendra promised to reform the Karnataka Public Service Commission to ensure transparency and speed up recruitment if his party returns to power. He also emphasized the need for better rural education and skill development to address youth migration.
Why it matters
Public sector recruitment transparency is a significant political issue in Karnataka, directly impacting youth employment and government credibility.
If BJP returns to power in Karnataka, the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) will be reformed to ensure greater transparency, and the recruitment process will be expedited, BJP State president B.Y. Vijayendra said on Monday (September 7).
Speaking at an interaction with youth during the Gen-Z Connect programme at Metri village in Kampli taluk, Ballari district, Mr. Vijayendra said the KPSC needed to regain aspirants’ confidence by making the recruitment process more transparent and ensuring that vacancies were filled without undue delay. If the BJP returns to power in the State, it would take steps to restore the credibility of the commission and streamline the recruitment process, he said.
