BJP to take up month-long Seva Sankalp Abhiyan from Sept. 17 to mark Modi’s 25 years of administration
The BJP is embarking on a month-long public service campaign titled Seva Sankalp Abhiyan throughout the country from September 17, the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to mark the completion of 25 years of his service as Chief Minister and Prime Minister.
Announcing this at a press conference in Bengaluru on Tuesday, Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda said though the party used to organise such service campaign every year, the present one would be special as it marks Mr. Modi’s 25 years of continuous service at the helm of administration.
The first day of the campaign would be declared as seva diwas and lamps would be lit on that night. The campaign would be marked by various activities including cleanliness drives, blood donation and medical camps with the active involvement of BJP workers, he explained.
