BJP strong in 660 mandals, targets wider organisational growth in Telangana: Ramchander Rao

The Telangana BJP is planning a strategic roadmap to strengthen its organizational presence across the state's mandals. Party leadership aims to challenge the ruling Congress government by increasing grassroots coordination.
Why it matters
This reflects the shifting political landscape in Telangana as the BJP attempts to position itself as a primary opposition force.
Telangana BJP MPs, MLAs and MLCs will have a coordination meeting after the conclusion of the Parliament session to prepare a detailed roadmap for the party’s future programmes and activities, State BJP president N. Ramchander Rao said on Friday.
Talking to the media after a meeting with national president Nitin Nabin at the party headquarters in New Delhi, he said a detailed roadmap for the party’s future programmes and activities, while intensifying a fight against the Congress government, has been laid out.
“Out of the 938 mandals in Telangana, the party is performing strongly in at least 660. Our focus will now be on further strengthening the organisation in every mandal and ensuring greater coordination and activity at the grassroots level,” said Mr. Rao.
