NEW DELHI: A day after Rahul Gandhi claimed President Droupadi Murmu "accepted" opposition's vote chori allegation, BJP ramped up its attack on him, saying he displayed ignorance of protocol and common sense. It said his assertion was in keeping with his past unsavoury references to constitutional positions.Rahul's claim prompted officials in Rashtrapati Bhawan, who normally keep away from political rows, to clarify that his remarks were incorrect and unfortunate.Union minister Piyush Goyal said it was a matter of shame that Rahul had no respect for constitutional authorities.
