NEW DELHI: Samajwadi Party supremo Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday took a swipe at the BJP over alleged incidents of harassment and violence against women during the crackdown on the Cockroach Janta Party’s (CJP) proposed protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi, which was brought to a halt with thousands of people detained, including several political leaders.The protest against CEC Gyanesh Kumar was effectively reduced to a story of restrictions, detentions and containment, with Delhi Police enforcing security measures ahead of the proposed showdown.Akhilesh shared a video on X purportedly showing multiple incidents in which women were allegedly harassed and assaulted by men dressed in civilian clothes.
