The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday (October 5, 2026), released the list of candidates for Rajya Sabha polls in Uttar Pradesh.
In a notification, the party announced a total of eight candidates. They are Dharampal Singh, Radhakant Ojha, Prakash Pal, Vidyasagar Sonkar, Gopi Krishna Pandey, Priyanka Singh Rawat, Ram Pratap Singh Chauhan, and Shruti Gangwar.
For the last stage of Rajya Sabha polls, the notification was issued on September 29, 2026. The last date of filing nomination is on October 6, 2026, scrutiny of the nomination will be on October 7 and last date for withdrawal of nomination is on October 9, 2026. The elections to the Rajya Sabha will be held on October 16, 2026.
