BJP Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Somu Veerraju on Friday appealed to the people to adopt handloom weaving products to promote rural artisans during the ‘Vocal for Local’ campaign at Katheru on the outskirts of Rajamahendravaram. East Godavari BJP District president Pikki Nagendra and other BJP leaders distributed sarees woven by Katheru handloom weavers. Mr. Veerraju stated in a release that the people should promote handloom products .to provide livelihood opportunities for the locals.
