Telangana BJP president N. Ramchander Rao on Friday strongly condemned the police action against unemployed youth who had gathered at the Saroornagar Indoor Stadium for recruitment to HYDRAA posts.
Alleging that the Congress government had failed to fulfill its promises to the youth, he described the use of force against job aspirants as deeply painful and condemnable.
In a statement, Mr. Rao said disturbing scenes emerged from the recruitment venue, where police were allegedly seen using force to disperse young candidates. Referring to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s slogan of ‘Mohabbat Ki Dukaan’, he remarked that the incident reflected a different reality in Telangana, where unemployed youth were allegedly subjected to police action while seeking job opportunities.
