BJP defends NDA government’s performance in Andhra Pradesh, accuses YSRCP of misinformation

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has defended the performance of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government in Andhra Pradesh and accused the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) of trying to create confusion among people by targeting the coalition government.

Addressing a press conference at the BJP State office on Tuesday, BJP State general secretary Nagothu Ramesh Naidu and MLC Pothula Sunitha said an investment-friendly environment had been created in Andhra Pradesh, with land availability and development works encouraging industrialists to invest in the State.

People were witnessing water flowing through irrigation projects, including Velugodu, and comparing the performance of the previous and present governments, Mr. Ramesh Naidu said.

He alleged that the YSRCP was spreading misinformation about the District Selection Committee (DSC) recruitment despite the process having been completed successfully. Education Minister Nara Lokesh had already explained, with evidence, that there was no corruption in the recruitment process, he said.
