BJP State unit president Nainar Nagenthran, on Sunday (August 30, 2026) objected to comments by TVK MLA Madhar Badhurudeen (also known as V.M.S. Mustafa) on the Tamil movie Amaran , a biopic of late Army officer Major Mukund Varadarajan .
In a social media post, Mr. Nagenthran asked, “If a movie is made on the truth about terrorists from Pakistan, how can it be considered as if it is against Muslims? Why is Mr. Mustafa not able to tolerate if a terrorist is punished?”
He urged TVK founder and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay to reprimand Mr. Mustafa.
