BJP challenges KCR, Revanth to reveal assets before and after power

Telangana BJP president N. Ramchander Rao demanded that former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy publicly disclose their assets before and after assuming power to dispel concerns over alleged illegal assets accumulation.
Addressing a press conference in New Delhi on Friday, Mr. Rao said that Mr. Revanth Reddy himself had stated in the Assembly that the previous BRS government under KCR had “looted Nizam’s wealth and poor people’s lands” and was involved in the alleged encroachment of nearly 500 acres of valuable land.
At the same time, BRS leaders have accused the Congress government of being involved in large-scale land irregularities by allegedly taking over private properties under the guise of the ‘22A’ prohibited lands list, he said.
