BJP accuses AAP chief of making unsubstantiated claims on E20 fuel
The BJP has criticized AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal for making unsubstantiated claims regarding E20 fuel. BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi dismissed Kejriwal's protests as political theatrics lacking scientific evidence.
Why it matters
The exchange reflects the ongoing political friction between the BJP and AAP regarding energy policy and public discourse.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday (July 4, 2026) accused Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal of making unsubstantiated claims regarding E20 fuel without presenting scientific evidence or research.
“Mr. Kejriwal was once again seen staging his usual drama with a handful of supporters, making reckless and baseless allegations in his characteristic style,” said BJP MP and spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi while reacting to the former Delhi Chief Minister’s attempted march towards the Prime Minister’s residence and a subsequent sit-in on Firoz Shah Road.
“He claims to be a highly educated leader and an IIT graduate, yet he has a habit of speaking on serious issues without any factual basis,” said Mr. Trivedi.
