BJLP leader seeks early approval for 136.5 km Patancheru–Adilabad new rly line
BJP leader A. Maheshwar Reddy has requested the Union Railway Minister to expedite the approval of the 136.5-km Patancheru–Adilabad railway line. The project is expected to boost regional connectivity and improve market access for farmers.

BJP Legislature Party leader A. Maheshwar Reddy has urged Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to accord early approval for the proposed 136.5-km railway line between Patancheru and Adilabad, saying the project would benefit people in Nirmal, Armur and other towns along the route.
In a memorandum submitted to the Railway Minister during his recent visit to Hyderabad, Mr. Reddy stated that the Final Location Survey (FLS) for the project had already been completed and that the South Central Railway (SCR) had submitted a Detailed Project Report (DPR) to the Railway Board in October 2025.
