Remote control allows for troubleshooting without disturbing the birds. TIRED App frequently mislabels nesting stages. Black exterior can absorb heat, leading to fatal temperatures in warmer climates. Cameras don’t capture every event. Some birds won’t like the metal drainage holes on the “floor.” Even though I've been a bird-watcher most of my life, nothing prepared me for the experience of witnessing—on my phone—the entire process of birds being born in my own backyard.
