Bihar Police arrested a headmaster and a teacher of a government school in Dumraon in connection with a case of alleged sexual abuse of schoolgirls, including minors. Headmaster Mohammad Imam Ali Ansari and teacher Arvind Kumar have been arrested.
One accused teacher from the same school, Virendra Prasad, is still absconding. Both teachers have been charged with sexually abusing the girls, circulating objectionable videos of them and threatening them through audio messages.
The incident occurred under Krishnabrahmn Police Station in Buxar district. An FIR has been lodged on the complaint of the victim’s mother — her daughter is a minor — under several sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
