Bihar native held for abduction, sexual assault

The police have arrested a man hailing from Bihar on charge of sexually assaulting a minor girl after abducting her by promising to marry her.
The arrested has been identified as Jay Raj Kumar (39) from Jhajha in Bihar, who had been working in a coir mill at G. Kaliyapuram near Pollachi.
According to the Negamam police, they received a complaint from a Jharkhand native on Monday, stating that his 15-year-old daughter was missing. The complainant also stated that Kumar, who lived in the locality, was also missing.
