Bihar Minister accuses RJD of making objectionable videos viral on social media

Bihar Minister Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha on Friday (September 25, 2026) issued a controversial statement while describing the viral videos on social media related to minor girls being molested in several districts of the State.

Mr. Kushwaha, who holds the Planning and Development Department portfolio in the cabinet of Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary , held the Opposition Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) responsible for making the objectionable video viral on social media platforms.

He not only levelled the serious allegation but also called people of the Yadav community Lucha-Lafanga (Rogues and Ruffians). Without referring to any data, the minister claimed that the majority of people in jail are from the Yadav community.

Mr. Kushwaha said this while speaking to the reporters at the party office during the weekly programme where ministers of Janata Dal (United) quota listen to the grievances of the common people.
