PATNA: A viral video from Siwan Model Sadar Hospital has raised serious questions over the security of patients and even bodies kept on the hospital premises.The footage, reportedly from late Tuesday night, shows a masked man approaching a body lying near the registration counter and allegedly removing a chain from the deceased's neck before walking into the emergency ward without apparent obstruction.The authenticity of the video and the identity and role of the man have not yet been independently established. It is also unclear whether the deceased's family was aware of the removal of the chain or had given any consent.The video, however, has triggered questions over how an outsider was allegedly able to approach the body despite the presence of security personnel and CCTV surveillance at the hospital.
