In a brief oral exchange before a Bench headed by the Chief Justice of India Surya Kant on Wednesday (July 29, 2026), senior advocate Huzeifa Ahmadi, representing the Muslim petitioners, including the mosque’s caretaker Qazi Moinuddin, said the district administration had currently allotted land 1.3 km away from the disputed complex.
