Bhogapuram airport to welcome first flight from Hyderabad

The newly established Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport in Bhogapuram is set to commence operations with its first inaugural flights arriving from Hyderabad and Bengaluru. The launch event includes ceremonial activities for passengers and strict security protocols due to the ongoing Independence Day high alert.

An Indigo flight from Hyderabad will be the first flight to land at the newly established Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport at Bhogapuram.
According to officials, the first day’s itinerary begins at 6 a.m. with a lamp-lighting ceremony in the check-in hall area, followed by boarding pass distribution and a ceremonial cake cutting alongside airline staff and passengers.
Indigo flight 6E6408 from Hyderabad will land at 6:45 a.m. and Air India Express flight IX2064 from Bengaluru at 7:30 a.m. Passengers on these inaugural arrival flights will be welcomed with special goody bags, including miniature Etikoppaka toys and first-flight certificates.
