Bharathidasan University holds programme on National Statistical System
Bharathidasan University and the National Statistical System Training Academy held a joint session to educate students on India's national statistical systems. The event aimed to encourage students to pursue careers in government statistical services and utilize official data portals.

The Department of Statistics, Bharathidasan University, and the National Statistical System Training Academy (NSSTA), Government of India, based in New Delhi, jointly held an interaction on the overview of the National Statistical System and the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) in Tiruchi on Saturday.
Around 75 participants, including faculty members, research scholars, and students from Bharathidasan University, E.V.R. College, St. Joseph’s College, National College, Tiruchi, Government Arts College, Karur, and Rajah Serfoji Government College, Thanjavur, took part in the programme.
R. Rajesh, ISS additional director general, MoSPI, in his address, motivated students to contribute to the nation by joining the Indian Statistical Service, Subordinate Statistical Service and State Statistical Services.
