Bharat Petroleum launches Bharatgas Lite ZIP, a 10kg fibre composite LPG cylinder

The service is being rolled out across major Indian cities, offering customers a lightweight, corrosion-free, and transparent cylinder option.

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) launched Bharatgas Lite ZIP – a premium Free Trade LPG (FTL) with instant connection and express delivery – in Mangaluru on July 31. The Lite ZIP comes with a 10kg fibre composite LPG cylinder.
Bharatgas Lite ZIP is BPCL’s next generation of customer-centric LPG solutions, combining advantages of the lightweight composite Bharatgas Lite cylinder with a digitally enabled premium service model focused on speed, convenience and superior customer experience.
Under Lite ZIP, customers can obtain a new LPG connection quickly through a simplified onboarding process while the cylinders are delivered within four hours of booking. The cylinders have lightweight design for easy handling, corrosion-free composite body, vsible LPG level through the transparent cylinder body, among other things.
