Bengaluru: Rehab centre owner, two employees booked for assaulting youth

Police in Bengaluru have registered a case against the owner and staff of a private rehabilitation centre following allegations of physical assault on an inmate. The victim's family reported that the inmate was beaten with a PVC pipe after being unable to perform physical exercises.
The Madanayakanahalli police have registered a case against the owner of a private de-addiction and rehabilitation centre and two staff members for allegedly assaulting an inmate at the facility in Machohalli near Madanayakanahalli on the outskirts of Bengaluru.
