Bengaluru-Mumbai Vande Bharat Sleeper service likely to start this month, to operate six days a week

The Railway Board has approved the introduction of a Vande Bharat Sleeper Express between KSR Bengaluru and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Mumbai, and is likely to start operations from this month, according to officials.
The service, numbered 27652 from KSR Bengaluru to CSMT and 27651 in the return direction, has been approved based on the minutes of a meeting held on February 16, 2026, as per the Railway Board communication accessed by The Hindu .
As per the proposed schedule, Train 27652 will depart KSR Bengaluru at 10 p.m. and reach Dharmavaram at 12.50 a.m., Wadi at 5.05 a.m. and CSMT at 1.50 p.m. the following day.
