Bengaluru-Karwar-Goa Ganapati Special train on September 11
South Western Railway is operating a special festival train between Bengaluru and Madgaon to accommodate increased passenger demand during the Ganapati festival. The service includes various classes of travel and stops at multiple stations along the Karnataka and Goa coast.

South Western Railway will operate one round trip of a Ganapati special train service between Yesvantpur in Bengaluru and Karwar in coastal Karnataka, and further to Madgaon in Goa, to clear the extra rush of passengers during the festival season. The services will be operated on September 11 and 14.
According to a notification from the SWR, Train No. 06591 Yesvantpur-Karwar-Madgaon Festival Special (train on demand) will depart from Bengaluru on Friday September 11 at 11.55 pm and reach Karwar at 4.50 pm on Saturday September 12. The train will reach Madgaon at 6.10 pm.
On the return trip, Train No. 06592 Madgaon-Bengaluru Cantonment Festival Special will leave Madgaon in Goa at 11 am on Monday September 14, and Karwar at 12 noon to reach Bengaluru Cantonment at 5.20 am on Tuesday September 15.
