A 36-year-old delivery executive was allegedly attacked with a knife and robbed of grocery items and his scooter key by three unidentified men in the Sadashivanagar police station limits in Bengaluru in the early hours of September 2.
The injured delivery executive, identified as Bitopan Deka, was admitted to a private hospital, where the police recorded his statement in the presence of doctors before registering a complaint.
According to the complaint, the incident occurred around 2.23 a.m., when Deka received an order to deliver grocery items to Sanjeevappa Colony near Mattikere. He was travelling from Bhadrappa Layout towards Mattikere on his electric scooter.
When he stopped near the New BEL Road-Sanjeevappa Colony Cross to take a turn, as a car was ahead of him, an unidentified scooter carrying three men, aged around 20, reportedly came and stopped beside him.
