Minister for Large and Medium Industries M.B. Patil on Thursday (July 23) said that a 200-acre semiconductor park in Phase I of Knowledge, Wellbeing and Innovation (KWIN) City is expected to become operational by December this year.
Speaking at the inaugural session of the 15th Strategic Electronics Summit-2026, Mr. Patil said that Karnataka’s upcoming Aerospace and Defence Policy 2026–2031 would place strong emphasis on developing integrated clusters for advanced electronic warfare systems, embedded software, electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (e-VTOL) technologies and payloads for the space sector.
