The police are investigating whether flags of Iran were paraded during the Id Milad procession in Kudachi of Belagavi district on Wednesday.
A team led by Sub-Inspector of Police Preetam Nayak is scanning social media and the city’s CCTV footage after some people shared images and videos of an Iranian flag being paraded during the procession, claiming that the footage was from Chikkodi.
However, the police officers said that a case is yet to be registered.
