Belagavi artist honours Nana Patekar with rangoli
Belagavi-based artist Ajit Aurwadkar has created a black-and-white rangoli portrait of actor Nana Patekar. The artwork serves as a tribute to the late actor, who had a historical connection to the region through his military training for the film Prahar.

Belagavi-based painter Ajit Aurwadkar has created a rangoli of actor Nana Patekar, who recently passed away in Goa. He said the artwork was created as a tribute to the actor, who had spent some time in Belagavi undergoing military training for the film Prahar.
The black-and-white rangoli took him eight hours to complete. It has been kept for public viewing at Jyoti Photo Studio in Wadgaon, Belagavi, according to a release.
