Why it matters
This article highlights the ongoing issue of online trolling and body-shaming faced by public figures, particularly women, and reflects broader discussions around celebrity image, cosmetic surgery, and self-worth in the digital age.
Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has read the riot act to trolls as she trades words with one of them.
A female troll took a swipe at the actress for her body, and the actress responded, questioning why trolls don’t look at themselves. Mocking the troll for her obesity, she noted how her legs can’t even carry the weight of her belly.
Following her exchange with the female troll, Martins issued a warning to other trolls, telling them they must be exceptionally beautiful before coming for her.
“Before you come for me, make sure you’re exceptionally beautiful.
You can’t be looking like a “WALKING TRAUMA “ and still dare to body shame someone that did absolutely nothing to you!
