A former media executive, CODE Sports is reporting the chief executive has been given three months to save his job following reports he is believed to be on the outer with several members of individuals on the club’s board.
As the Bears near their first NRL fixture, it is understood there has been a push for De Ceglie to be sacked immediately.
However, ARLC Chairman Peter V’landys reportedly stepped in, giving De Ceglie time to try and win back the support of the club’s high-powered figures.
