Beachville opens second cafe in Tiruvanmiyur, Chennai

Eight years after launching Beachville as a roastery and six years after introducing Chennai to its first roastery cafe , founder Divya Jayashankar has opened a second outpost in the leafy lanes of Tiruvanmiyur. A world away from the constant buzz of the St. Mary’s Road cafe, this new address moves at an unhurried pace.

Tucked inside the same space as The Button Thief Co., an independent label known for its handcrafted everyday clothing, the cafe feels like a natural extension of the label’s philosophy. For Divya, the choice was deeply personal. “I grew up in this neighbourhood. My grandparents’ house was here, and I’ve been visiting the store for many years. Since they also believe in slow, sustainable living, it felt like a perfect space to share,” she says.
