The Sunny Deol starrer clashed at the box office with Emraan Hashmi's 'Awarapan 2' on Independence day and the latter is in a completely different league. The Emraan Hashmi starrer had already collected Rs. 136.25 crore net in India by Day 10 while 'Batwara 1947' continues to struggle to touch Rs 40 crore at the box office.Batwara 1947 Movie ReviewThe Rajkumar Santoshi directorial opened with Rs 5.75 crore on Day 1 and saw a big jump to Rs 13.50 crore on Day 2. It then collected Rs 7.25 crore on Day 3 before falling to Rs 2 crore on the first Monday. The film ended its opening week with Rs 33.60 crore.The second weekend did not bring much improvement.
